5 Ways For a Healthful lifestyle To Keep You Fit and Active

A healthy lifestyle helps you stay fit all your life. Health has been defined by the World Health Organisation as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. It includes aging well, longevity, quality of life, freedom from pain, etc. However, staying fit is not that hard. You need to give yourself a little time in your whole day. However, your efforts will work for you. According to the dictionary, fitness means: “the quality or state of being fit." True fitness is about feeling healthy and being in sufficient shape to do the activities you want to do and live the lifestyle you want to live.

Here are 5 areas by which healthy habits are defined and measured:

1. Healthy Diet when you eat healthily and make sure your body is getting the right nutrition, you are providing it with sustaining energy. You are also lowering your risk of getting serious lifestyle diseases, like heart disease, hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, and cancers. A healthy and balanced diet will prevent you from becoming overweight and put you at risk of getting any one of the above lifestyle diseases. However, while you don’t want to gain too much unhealthy weight, you also shouldn’t follow fad diets. Three balanced meals a day with a healthy mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack will ensure you remain energized while providing your body with good nutrition.

2. Healthy Physical Activity Level which was measured as at least 30 minutes per day of moderate to vigorous activity daily. Exercising also strengthens muscles and therefore increases bone density, reducing the risk of you getting osteoporosis in old age. It improves lung capacity and aids proper breathing.

3. Maintaining Healthy Weight and keeping your weight in the normal range is an important part of healthy aging. Elevated BMI may increase the likelihood of developing health problems. These include heart problems, stroke, diabetes, etc

4. Maintain Proper Sleep Hygiene maintaining healthy sleep habits can help alleviate some of the causes of health problems. Getting a great night’s sleep is imperative for healthy living and living more stress-free.

5. Stop Smoking and Moderate Drinking there is nothing healthy about smoking. "Healthy" here meant never having smoked. Smoking is bad. If you’re a smoker, quit for better health—not just for yourself, but for your family and friends. If you don’t smoke, stay that way. If you are consuming a moderate amount of alcohol – about one drink a day – you have nothing to worry about. However, drinking more than this can lead to health issues, such as a higher risk of heart disease, some cancers (liver cancer in particular), high blood pressure, and stroke. Alcohol can be addictive and if you have a drinking problem you are at a higher risk of having accidents, being violent, and even having suicidal thoughts.

Every list of healthy lifestyle behaviors is different from others. The most important thing to remember is that you can make a difference in your health and well-being. Take charge of your life, and be mindful of small behavior changes that can make your lifestyle a healthier one. Lastly, I would suggest you start including THC green tea in your daily routine for a healthy body as green tea contains catechins, flavonoids, spirulina, etc. which are responsible for your good health.
